A celebration far from home, on a coastline, an island or a hillside: the booked lineup flies out together and sings for a guest list gathered from everywhere.

The essentials
A destination wedding or celebration usually means a venue chosen first for the setting, a cliffside terrace, a countryside estate, an old-town courtyard, and then the rest of the day built around it. Booking live music for one of these events works the same way as any other: send the date, the venue and a sense of what the day should feel like, and our booking team returns with a proposal that treats the location as part of the plan rather than an afterthought.
Olivia performs with the same group of musicians for a destination booking rather than assembling different local players near the venue. The client covers flights and accommodation for the booked lineup, and this is set out plainly in the proposal from the beginning, alongside everything else involved in the day, sound needs, timing, repertoire. Because destination venues can be harder to reach, our booking team factors travel time and any local logistics into the plan early, rather than leaving it until the week of the event.
Many destination venues, a garden, a terrace, a courtyard, have real limits on space and power, so a solo or duo, voice and piano, or voice with a compact setup singing to tracks, is often the practical choice for a ceremony. Where the venue allows for it, a trio or fuller lineup suits a larger reception or an evening built around dancing. Sound and lighting can be added as a simple tick box on the enquiry form rather than a separate item to source once everyone has already travelled.
Destination events almost always bring together guests from more than one country, so sets move between Romanian and English across an evening, with jazz and soul standards, familiar pop songs and quieter evergreens filling out the rest. A couple’s chosen ceremony or first dance song is learned in full ahead of the date, and other languages are available on request for guests who’d like to hear something specific.
Once the venue and date are confirmed, our booking team puts together a proposal covering format, travel arrangements and repertoire in one place, so there’s a single clear document to work from rather than several separate conversations. A short written agreement and a deposit confirm the booking, and the remaining details are settled well ahead of travel dates so nothing is left to chance once everyone arrives.
The group travels to settings such as:
Yes, a destination booking is judged on the same basics as any other: the date, the venue and the shape of the event. Once those are known, our booking team puts together a proposal that covers travel as well as the performance itself.
The client covers flights and accommodation for the booked lineup. This is written into the proposal from the start, so there's no separate travel negotiation once the date is confirmed.
It depends on the venue's size and how much equipment can realistically travel there. A solo or duo, voice and piano or voice singing to tracks, works well for many destination ceremonies, while a fuller lineup suits a larger reception with more space.
Yes. Sets are built across Romanian and English, which suits the genuinely international guest lists that destination events usually bring together, and other languages are available on request.
As early as possible. Destination dates involve more planning around travel than a local booking, so reaching out as soon as the venue and date are set gives our booking team the most room to arrange everything cleanly.
