Olivia Mihet is a Romanian singer-songwriter and pianist, and weddings are where her two musical lives meet most naturally: the classically trained pianist who holds a Master’s in composition, and the songwriter who was a semi-finalist in Romania’s 2022 Eurovision national selection with her own song “Fragile.” She has opened for Irina Rimes, one of Romania’s best-known singer-songwriters, and performed with a live chamber ensemble in a brick-walled concert hall, experience that shows up in how naturally she moves between a hushed ceremony moment and a full room singing along.
How it works
Every wedding starts with a conversation, not a package sheet. Our booking team asks about your venue, your timeline, the moments that matter to you, and whether you want live music for the ceremony only, the whole day, or just the party at the end. From there we suggest a format, solo, duo, trio or band, and a running order that fits your schedule, including breaks so the music never runs stale. A deposit and a short written agreement confirm the date once everything is settled, and every proposal is tailored rather than pulled from a price list, so ask early.
What the day sounds like
The aisle music is usually the first thing couples picture: something gentle on piano or a soft vocal as guests settle and you make your entrance. Signing the register calls for something quieter still, often instrumental or a favourite song played low. As guests move to drinks, the set opens up: jazz standards, warm pop covers, a little Romanian, whatever suits the crowd and the setting. The first dance gets special attention. Olivia will learn your chosen song in full, not just the chorus, so the moment feels like your song rather than a cover. Later in the evening, if a band or fuller lineup is booked, the energy lifts again to fill the dancefloor.
Repertoire
Sets are built from a few families of music: jazz and soul standards for cocktail hour, well-loved pop songs guests will sing along to, timeless evergreens for the quieter parts of the day, and, for couples who want it, Romanian folk-inspired pieces and Romanian evergreens that bring real warmth for diaspora families and mixed weddings. Olivia also writes and performs original songs. Everything is sung in Romanian or English, sometimes both across the same set, with other languages available on request.
Working with your venue, planner or DJ
Olivia is used to sharing a day with photographers, celebrants, DJs and venue coordinators, and our booking team is happy to speak directly with your planner about timings, changeover, and where to set up for ceremony versus reception. If a DJ is taking over later in the evening, the handover is planned so there’s no dead air and no clash of equipment.
Booking a wedding anywhere in the world
Olivia and the band travel to weddings across Romania, Europe, the UK and Ireland and destination locations further afield. The client covers flights and accommodation for the booked lineup, and everything else, from format to running order, is set out clearly in the proposal, so there are no hidden extras once the date is confirmed.
Ready to talk?
If you have a date, a venue and a rough idea of what you’d like the music to feel like, that’s more than enough to start the conversation.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does a wedding singer cost?
Every proposal is shaped around your date, chosen format, timings and destination, so there's no fixed rate to quote here. Send over the details of your day and our booking team will come back with a clear, itemised proposal.
Do you only perform in one country, or do you travel?
Olivia and the band travel internationally for bookings. Weddings regularly take the lineup across Europe, to the UK and Ireland and to destination locations anywhere in the world, alongside dates in Romania.
Can you learn our first dance or ceremony song?
Yes. Learning a couple's chosen song is a normal part of preparing for a wedding booking. Send the title as early as you can so there's time to rehearse it properly, whether it's a well-known track or something more personal.
Do you bring your own sound equipment?
For solo, duo and trio bookings a compact PA is usually enough. Sound and lighting can also be added to any booking as a simple tick box on the enquiry form if your venue needs a fuller setup.
Will you sing in Romanian as well as English?
Both. Sets are built across Romanian and English repertoire, with other languages available on request, which is especially popular with Romanian couples and mixed-heritage weddings.
Who covers flights and accommodation for an international booking?
The client covers flights and accommodation for the booked lineup. Everything else, from set length to repertoire, is worked out in the proposal, so there are no surprise costs later.
How far in advance should we book, and what happens next?
Popular wedding dates get booked well ahead, so it's worth reaching out as soon as you have a date and venue. After a short conversation about your day, our booking team confirms the format and timeline, and a deposit with a simple written agreement secures the booking.
