Olivia Mihet is a Romanian singer-songwriter and pianist whose stage experience runs from intimate cafe sets to a headline concert and performances alongside a live chamber ensemble, the kind of range that suits a corporate calendar where one week means quiet dinner music and the next means a full gala stage. She was a semi-finalist in Romania’s 2022 Eurovision national selection and has opened for Irina Rimes, so she is entirely comfortable holding a room, whether that room is a boardroom dinner or an awards ceremony.
How it works
Corporate bookings usually start with a brief rather than a request list: the tone of the event, the running order, whether there’s an awards moment or speech to work around, and how much of the evening should be background versus a proper performance. Our booking team will suggest the right format, solo, duo, trio or full band, and confirm timings that fit around catering, speeches and any AV schedule. As with every booking, pricing is not fixed. Every proposal is tailored to the brief, so it’s worth reaching out early, especially for a fixed event date like a Christmas party or annual gala.
What the evening sounds like
Arrivals and networking drinks usually call for something understated, piano-led jazz and soft pop that lets conversation carry. Through dinner, the set stays warm but unobtrusive. When it’s time for an awards presentation or a keynote moment, the music can lift briefly to mark the occasion, then settle back down. Later, if a gala calls for dancing, a fuller band lineup takes the room from polite applause to an actual dancefloor, without ever feeling like a jarring shift in tone.
Repertoire
The set draws on jazz and soul standards for the reception and dinner portions, familiar pop and evergreens that work for a broad, mixed-age corporate crowd, and Romanian material where it’s relevant, useful for companies with Romanian staff, partners or clients in the room. Original songs can also be featured for a more distinctive, artist-led moment on stage, and everything is available in Romanian or English, with other languages on request.
Working with your venue, AV team or events agency
Corporate events almost always involve a venue AV team, an events agency, or an internal events lead, and our team is used to working alongside all three, confirming stage plot, power, and changeover directly with whoever is running production, so the music slots cleanly into a tightly timed schedule.
Booking a corporate event anywhere in the world
Corporate and gala bookings travel across Europe, to the UK and Ireland and to destination locations anywhere in the world, as well as within Romania. The client covers flights and accommodation for the booked lineup, and the rest of the arrangements sit in the proposal alongside your running order.
Why a live artist rather than a covers act
A corporate audience notices the difference between a generic function band and a genuine performer, and that’s part of what Olivia brings to a gala stage: real original songs, a proper artist story, and stage experience that goes well beyond function-room sets. It tends to read as a more memorable, slightly more prestigious booking for a company event, without ever tipping into anything showy or out of step with a corporate tone. The music still serves the evening, not the other way around.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What does a corporate booking usually include?
It depends entirely on the brief: background music during a reception, a featured set around an awards presentation, or a full band for a Christmas party. Our booking team will ask about the running order and shape the proposal around it.
How much does live music for a corporate event cost?
There's no standard rate, since format, length and travel all vary. Send the event details and a tailored proposal will follow. Most corporate clients ask well ahead of their event date.
Do you travel to corporate events internationally?
Yes. Conferences, galas and staff events regularly bring the lineup across Europe, to the UK and Ireland and to destination locations anywhere in the world, alongside bookings in Romania.
Can you learn a company song, anthem or a specific request for a presentation moment?
Yes. If there's a particular song tied to an award, a retirement, or a brand moment, send it in advance and it will be prepared properly.
Do you handle your own sound and lighting?
For solo and duo bookings a compact PA suits receptions and dinners. Sound and lighting can also be added to any booking as a simple tick box on the enquiry form for a gala or band-scale event.
Is the set adaptable for an international or bilingual audience?
Yes. Sets can be built in English, with Romanian pieces added where there's an international or Romanian-speaking audience in the room, and other languages available on request.
Who covers flights and accommodation for an international corporate event?
The client covers flights and accommodation for the booked lineup, and this is included in the proposal alongside the format and running order.
How do we confirm a booking?
Once the format and running order are agreed, a deposit and a straightforward written agreement lock in the date, the same as any other booking.
